Filter Capability Example

 

The filter tool allows you a total of six different filter criteria.  In determining benefit costing for example, you may want to run a report on employees in a certain department who have a medical and dental benefit who are smokers.  You can then export to Excel and use calculations to determine the cost to the company of the next premium increase.  The tool also will help in budgeting for wage increases.  If union contract requires various wage increases for different job levels, you can filter by job codes.  Export the query to Excel and calculate the ramifications of the wage increases.
